Minimum six years study in your institute: (2 options)
1. Five years in TCM and additional one more year of education in Alternative & complementary medicine
or
2. Four years in Holistic Health Sciences and plus two years in Holistic Nutrition and Body work

DOCTORATE PROGRAM GUIDELINES
CNMCC offers to approved and accredited independent private Traditional Chinese Medicine/Acupuncture schools programs in the field of complementary and alternative medicine.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR DOCTORATE PROGRAMS
All applications and previous education will be evaluated prior to admission to the program.
- The minimum requirement for admission to a Doctorate program is a Master’s level diploma in complementary and alternative medicine from a recognized post secondary school
- Experienced Medical Professionals may apply for admission to the Doctorate programs.
Program Structure:
- Theory Hours (2500 hours), including core courses and electives (listed below) to be completed in an approved and accredited educational institution. Each Doctorate program consists of 800 hrs of study in advanced physiology & pathology, 800 hrs of study in advanced pharmacology & toxicology, and 900 hours of focused study specific to that program.
- Clinical & Research hours (2500 hours). ♦ upon evidence provided hours collected in private clinical practice will be credited towards clinical and research hours.
- Thesis based on scientific research conducted in hospital or laboratory setting. (Details below).
Thesis Requirements:
Research topic need to be related to the complementary and alternative medicine.
Students are required to prepare a thesis proposal and present it to the faculties, prior to proceed on the major components of the student’s research.
